Senior Technical Consultant AIX Dublin, IRELAND :50k to :60k pa + Car Allowance
Senior AIX Technical Consultant * Project Manager with strong AIX, KSH scripting, DNS, TCP*IP skills required. You should have a minimum of 5 years work experience in a Unix environment, preferably in a consultancy role and should be technically proficient in Unix (preferably AIX). An IBM CATE certification will be an advantage. You must have prior project management experience including workshop facilitation, change control, issue and risk management and project reporting. You must have at least 5 years experience in implementing technical projects and must be focused on the implementation and delivery along with possessing excellent team and communication skills. You should have excellent trouble shooting and problem solving skills and a Degree*Technical certification in Computer Science or a related field. Any experience with Storage Technology (SANs * NAS & Tape Technologies), Tivoli (TSM, Performance and Availability Monitoring), PSSP, NIS, pSeries, HACMP clustering, Oracle * DB2 and Cisco networking will be a distinct advantage.
